'The Hunger Games' to Return to Theaters For 2 Days Ahead of Prequel's Release

The Hunger Games fans are in for a treat!

It was just announced on Friday (September 15) that the first movie in the franchise is heading back into theaters for a very limited time this October – only two days.

However, the movie returning to theaters will also come with another special add-on.

 

For those who head out to catch The Hunger Games in theaters again, you’ll have to stick around until the end as there will be an exclusive look at the upcoming prequel movie The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes.

“Before you witness his rise, revisit the beginning of his fall. #TheHungerGames returns to theaters nationwide for two days only on October 15 and 18. Stay for an exclusive, never-before-seen look at The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes after the film,” the Hunger Games Twitter/X account posted.

If you missed it, new character posters were recently revealed for the upcoming prequel, which will be directed by the same director as the last three Hunger Games movie, Francis Lawrence.
