HAMILTON, Miss. (AP) - A one vehicle accident occurred on Highway 45 in Monroe County has claimed the life of a 38-year-old Columbus man.

The accident happed about one-half mile from the Lowndes county line at 1:13 a.m. Thursday.

Investigators tell the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal (http://bit.ly/QK59po ) a car driven by Antonio Moore ran off the road and ran into a pond.

Alan Gurley, Monroe County Coroner, say an autopsy found that Moore drown.
