LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Attorney General Dustin McDaniel is scheduled to present law enforcement officer of the year awards.

McDaniel is to present the 2012 Outstanding Law Enforcement Officer of the Year awards during a luncheon Tuesday in Little Rock.

The presentation is part of the day-long 2012 Law Enforcement Summit that offers training to law officers statewide.

A tribute is also planned to Trumann police office Jonathan Schmidt - who was shot to death during a traffic stop in Trumann in April 2011.
