Most Isaac debris removed in McComb

MCCOMB, Miss. (AP) - Hurricane Isaac debris pick-up is in full swing within the city limits of McComb.

Philip Russell, public works director, says more than 12,000 cubic feet of debris have already been picked up and the effort would continue through Friday.

Russell says 64 trees also have been trimmed to remove hazardous hanging limbs.

The Enterprise-Journal reports (http://bit.ly/OsQwcU ) the plan is to grind the material up and take it to a paper mill.
