YAZOO CITY, Miss. (AP) - Yazoo County investigators are trying to determine how a 1 year old died from internal head injuries.

Coroner Ricky Shivers tells WLBT TV (http://bit.ly/RM1Yh ) Kylie Jennings died Saturday afternoon at a Jackson hospital.

He says the investigation began Wednesday when she was airlifted to University Medical Center.

Sheriff's department investigators say Jennings was being watched at family friend's home when she was found unresponsive.

No signs of abuse were found on the child.

Deputies say other children were inside the home with Jennings.

No arrests have been made but witnesses are being interviewed.

Jennings' death is being treated as a homicide.

The name and location of the baby sitter's home was not released.
