LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Officials in central Arkansas' Pulaski County say people will have another day to make electronic payments on property taxes because of technical problems.
Monday is the deadline to pay property taxes, but the Pulaski County Treasurer's website says it will accept online electronic payments and telephone payments without penalty through 11:59 p.m. Tuesday.
People also can make payments by check, cash or money order on Monday, but not on Tuesday.
The website said Monday that electronic payments are unavailable because its service provider is experiencing technical problems.
Chief administrator Debbye Wolter says she doesn't know when the technical issue will be resolved.
The county treasurer's service provider - Information Network of Arkansas - says it's working to fix the computer problems and apologizes for the inconvenience.
