SHERIDAN, Ark. (AP) - Four people were killed, including a young teenager, and two youths were injured in a head-on crash in Grant County.
Arkansas State Police say the accident occurred when an SUV crossed the center line and struck a pickup shortly before noon Saturday on U.S. Highway 167 in Sheridan.
Killed in the SUV were 53-year-old Willie Lewis and 13-year-old Ashly Lewis, whose birthday was Wednesday. Both were from Little Rock.
In the pickup, 52-year-old Ronald Gana and 51-year-old Virginia Gana, both of the same Newport address, were killed.
Two children, ages 14 and 17, in the truck driven by Willie Lewis were injured. They were taken to Arkansas Children's Hospital for treatment.
