HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (AP) - Prosecutors have filed misdemeanor charges against two teenagers accused of killing two horses, a donkey and a cow.

The juveniles were charged last week with misdemeanor animal cruelty. The Sentinel-Record reports (http://is.gd/4l2abL ) that a Pearcy man filed a complaint with sheriff's investigators on Oct. 8, saying that two quarter horses, one cow and one donkey were shot and killed on his property.

A second cow had been shot in the horn.

Garland County Sheriff's Department investigator Danny Wilson says a 17-year-old boy from Hot Springs and a 16-year-old Royal boy were charged with five counts of animal cruelty.

Wilson says the two boys allegedly bragged about the shootings at school. Both were charged as juveniles and are due in Garland County Juvenile Court on Nov. 1.
