GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) - Federal court records say a man has pleaded guilty in a south Mississippi pain pill investigation.
Authorities say Charles MacGeorge and a woman were arrested Dec. 1, 2010, in their hotel room at the Hard Rock Casino in Biloxi with some 374 pain pills.
MacGeorge pleaded guilty Thursday to narcotics racketeering in U.S. District Court in Gulfport. Sentencing is set for Jan. 23.
The government claims Gulfport police arrested a known drug dealer with 10 Oxycontin pills that day and that man led them to the hotel room.
