Southaven to seek input on bike paths

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. (AP) - The Southaven Board of Aldermen has agreed to review and get public input on a proposed plan for citywide on-street bicycle and pedestrian paths.

The Commercial Appeal reports (http://bit.ly/U8DAGv ) City Planning Director Whitney Choat-Cook presented the plan to the Mayor and Board of Aldermen during Tuesday's board meeting.

Southaven Mayor Greg Davis said the plan to put the bicycle and pedestrian paths on streets throughout the city would take several years and "millions" to complete.
