William "Rusty" Hyneman is charged with domestic assault

Shelby County Sheriffs Deputies arrested Hyneman Saturday after his wife says he hit her in the face.

Deputies say the two had been arguing beforehand.

 This isn't the Hyneman's first run-in with the law.

 In 2009 Hyneman was arrested after being accused of punching a guy on Beale street.

 Hyneman was also investigated in 2005 for handing out expensive gifts to Memphis and Shelby County leaders
