If you want your last Twinkie, you won't find them in stores. People flocked to the stores like Black Friday, wiping Hostess snacks from store shelves after the company announced its bankruptcy.

The snacks are selling on eBay, but you may have to break your piggy back to afford it. From $50 to a few thousand dollars, the price of Twinkies, Ding-Dongs and Ho-Hos are rising.

"I saw some people were…. $50 for a box was the average but I saw some crazy stuff like $3,000 a box," says one Hostess lover.

At the Hostess Outlet on Jackson Avenue in Memphis, Hostess cakes are going for 50 cents a package. Online, they're priced at an average of $50.

"It's kind of commercializing on a loss. It's a lot of jobs people are going to be without and it's kind of nostalgic, no we're selling them for $1,000 a Twinkie? I think it's a little crazy," says another Hostess fan Sparkle Anderson.

Many say these people are price-gouging something that's priceless. Anderson says, "My mom grew up on Twinkies, my daughter too. Now there's no Twinkies."
