Whitehaven High School students, local and state elected leaders unveiled a surprise Sunday evening that left one of the most powerful and influential lawmakers in Tennessee very emotional.
Tennessee's longest-serving member of the House, District 91
Congresswoman Lois DeBerry wiped away tears when a portion of Ball Road
between Norris Road and Airways Boulevard was renamed in her honor.
The dedication was part of the Whitehaven Gospel Festival in honor of the first woman to serve as speaker pro Tempore for the Volunteer State.
