Treveno Campbell, who allegedly shot and killed Officer Martoiya Lang while she was executing a drug warrant with her partner, was released from the hospital, police said.

Campbell, 21, had been recovering at The MED since the Dec. 14 deadly shooting where Officer Lang was fatally shot in the upper torso. Her partner Officer William Vrooman received a leg wound.

Police say Campbell fired at the officers as they pursued Willie Braddock, 26, into a bedroom. The officers returned fire, wounding Campbell, who is charged with murder and attempted murder and has a Jan. 3 court date.

Campbell was arraigned in court via video feed from The Med's hospital prison ward on Dec. 20.

Braddock is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 2 to face drug charges. He is currently free on $40,000 bond.

Officer Lang was laid to rest Dec. 21.

A search warrant released by the Memphis Police Department showed that there was less than 2 pounds of marijuana found at the Mendenhall Cove home.

The warrant also revealed there were 14 ounces of a sleep aid with codeine, a gun, ammunition, and just less than $5,000 in the home.
