A day after President Barack Obama took his second oath of office, 150 new Americans in Memphis took a different oath, an oath of citizenship.
The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Office held a naturalization ceremony at the main library to
administer the "Oath of Allegiance" to 150 people from 53 countries.
National Civil Rights Museum founder Judge D'Army Bailey was on hand to welcome the new citizens. He also reminded everyone of the importance of fighting for what you believe in.
