MEMPHIS, Tenn. (FOX13) -

Darrell Malone was fired from the Memphis Police Department on Thursday for intimidation stemming from an October 2012 incident on Germantown Parkway and I-240.

Malone got into a trouble when a driver called police and said a motorcyclist was driving erratically down Germantown Parkway. When the driver threatened to call police, the man on the motorcycle, identified as Malone, flashed a gun and reportedly said he was a policeman.

Malone, who was indicted in January was charged with harassment, was relieved of duty. He is expected to face a judge in April.
