Bullet strikes Panola Co school bus, hits student

BATESVILLE, Miss. (AP) -

A bullet struck a Panola County school bus, hitting at least one student in the back.

Authorities told The Panolian a second-graderwas transported by helicopter Monday to Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center in Memphis. Witnesses say the child was walking after the incident, suggesting the injury was not critical.
