HERNANDO, Miss. (FOX13) -

DeSoto County Sheriff Bill Rasco jokingly calls the new jail the "Hernando Hilton," but don't expect a plush stay.

"It's not anything extravagant but it is to do the job that we need to do to protect the citizens of Desoto County," Sheriff Rasco said.

BALDWYN, Miss. (AP) -

A Memphis woman was killed and two others injured in a single vehicle crash in Baldwyn, Miss.

The accident happened late Saturday night on Baldwyn-Ripley Road.

Prentiss County Coroner Greg Sparks tells the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal 23-year-old Ashley Gaston of Memphis, was killed in the crash.
