Even though Lindsay Lohan is a celebrity, she does NOT like getting her picture taken… you know, unless she gets $$$ or has a gun in her mouth.

It seems that Sunday morning's W Hotel phone snatching incident, which resulted in an alleged assault by Republican congressional stafferChristian LaBella, is NOT a rare occurrence for Mz. Lohan…

'Cause apparently she is known around the A-list clubbing circuit for freaking on people who have their cell phones out in her presence!

One party goer has stepped forward to recall a night at Hollywood hangout Bootsy Bellows, where she fell victim to Linds' war on cellular telephones.

The insider reveals:

"I was hanging out at Bootsy Bellows with my friends, and I was texting with my friend when all of a sudden Lindsay Lohan comes running up to me and rips the phone right out of my hand. She was like, ‘I know you’re trying to take pictures of me.’ She got security, and they went through my phone. When Lindsay saw there were no pictures of her, she didn’t even apologize."

Oh bajeezus!

AND another club goer has also stepped forward with a wild, wacky Lindsay story of her own!

The mistreated Missus, who encountered Linds at the exclusive locale The Sayer's Club, expresses:

"Lindsay knew some of my friends so we invited her to sit with us. My friends and I were taking pictures of each other just goofing around and Lindsay thought for sure we were trying to get pictures of her drinking. She jumped up and grabbed my phone out of my hands. I was so shocked, and before I could ever realize what happened, Linsday grabbed my friend’s phone too! She demanded to see the pictures and started digging around in our phones. After Lindsay saw there were no pictures of her she was like, ‘You guys aren’t supposed to be taking pictures in here anyway.’ "

It seems someone needs to SIMMA DOWN NOW.

We get it Linds, you don't want people to know how much alcohol mineral water you've been drinking, but unless you wanna become a tax man or something and forgo the fancy designer freebies, fame is the life you've chosen…

Ah well, she can't get her freckled fingers on every phone in the world!
