Saying you have a fever usually does the trick, but a San Antonio woman went as far as to report a fake kidnapping so that she could have off from work.Sheila Bailey Eubank told police that she was abducted by a man while withdrawing money from an ATM at the Security Service Federal Credit Union. He forced her to drive him around town for various drug deals before (according to her story) he assaulted her, tied her up with a rope and left her in the car where an officer on patrol eventually found her. That sounds horrible! If it would have actually happened, at least. When confronted by investigators, Eubank admitted “she simply wanted a day off from work and wanted attention."Hmmm….Spending the day tied up in your own car doesn't seem like the best way to enjoy a sick day.Instead of earning her pay for the day, she faces a third-degree felony charge with a bail set at $10,000. Worth it?[Image via San Antonio Sheriff's Department.]
