The NYPD saves the day!And that is just what Jennifer Connelly needed while trying to avoid some pesky paparazzi during a break from filming Winter's Tale with Colin Farrell and Russell Crowe. Guess she isn't as friendly with the paps as Amanda Bynes.Luckily, since hubby Paul Bettany didn’t seem to be around, a nice officer helped her grab a taxi in order to make her getaway. It looks like he even held her purse for her while she waited. Now that's a gentleman!And she is surely glad he stepped in when he did because she was failing at trying to hide behind some festive Christmas trees.Good job, NYPD. Another celebrity safely home!
