With Fringe wrapping up, The X-Files scraping the bottom of the movie barrel, and the OG Twilight Zone being memorized by everyone through re-runs, this news is FANTASTIC.And we think Bryan Singer is the right person to do it: The Twilight Zone is getting the reboot treatment on CBS!We know, we know. You're tired of the rebooting, there aren't original ideas in Hollywood, etc. Well, at least they're rebooting a fantastic idea, even if it isn't very original.Who wouldn't want new Twilight Zone episodes? The only problem we see here is that it's landing on CBS, which isn't really the place to get modern programming. CBS was the home of the original show, but that was way back when. Letzzz be honest! Also, they don't have a writer for the pilot, and there's no real word if Singer will direct it after serving as developer and executive producer.Oh, and we can't forget that it's been rebooted a few times already. The first was on CBS and ran from 1985-1989, with the most recent series reboot, hosted by Forest Whitaker (weird - LOLz!!), premiered on UPN in 2002 and lasted one season. On a side note, just mentioning The X-Files makes us want to at least get a prequel treatment — a young Fox Mulder anyone??
