Instagram SUED Over Greedy New Terms Of Service!
Ruh-roh, Facebook stockholders!When Instagram quietly pushed through new Terms of Service last week, they never realized they'd face this degree of criticism!Now a California-based law firm is filing a class-action civil lawsuit on behalf of pissed off customers and that might be bad news for the app's parent company, Facebook!Instagram backtracked on their greedy new policies after the initial public outrage, but the plaintiffs aren't satisfied with the revised ToS!The recently filed lawsuit states:"In short, Instagram declares that 'possession is nine-tenths of the law and if you don't like it, you can't stop us.'"Apparently any California residents who feel wronged are eligible to become a signatory in the suit, including disgruntled user Kim Kardashian!Facebook isn't keen on paying Kimmy K, however.Their spokesperson said:"We believe this complaint is without merit and we will fight it vigorously."We aren't sure these guys have a snowballs chance in court, but hopefully this will make social media companies think twice before making sweeping changes to their policies that might alienate a large user base![Image via Instagram.]
