No One Wants To See President Obama’s Inauguration!
We’ll go!But apparently we are the only ones who want to see President Barack Obama's inauguration for his second term on January 21st.Say whaaat?!The public has decided that this second term isn’t as importantinteresting as his first one and, well, it looks like they aren’t rushing to book trips to the D.C. area.Only about 800,000 people are expected this time around.Whoa! We thought no one was going!Okay, okay…considering he had 1.8 million visitors for his first inauguration, this is quite a decline.All this cannot be good for the economy.Hotel rooms aren't being booked and locals who once rented out their homes for extra income aren't getting the opportunity.Lately, it has just not been a time for celebration, but we were hoping this inauguration would at least get people back in a positive mood.However, festivities have been cut back with there only being two official balls instead of ten which could be good for the difficult financial situation D.C. is facing.We just wish the best of luck to President Obama, and enjoy the party!And then bring on the change![Image via Ramey Pix.]
