Cher Will Be Taking Us Back To The '60s In A Brand New Pilot For The Logo Network!

And we couldn't be MORE EFFING THRILLED!With a new album on its way and pretty much the best Twitterpage of all time, Cher has made no secret of her plans to make 2013 her bitch, but apparently, she's ready to remind the world that she pulls double duty like no one else…and is set to return to the small screen 40 years after The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour premiered by developing a new pilot for Logo!According to new reports, she has signed a development deal with the LGBT-oriented network alongside comedian Ron Zimmerman for a series set in early 1960s Hollywood…and the icon very well may have an on-screen role!Senior VP of original programming Brent Zacky explains:"We read some of the stuff that Cher and Ron had written and it was really terrific. We came up with an idea set in Hollywood in the early '60s and we're very excited to see how we get through the process. The deal is brand-new and we're just getting started on the project. We're very carefully and hopefully diligently taking a few shots in this arena and we'll see how it pans out. We're certainly excited to be in business with an icon like Cher and Ron, who is a terrific writer."YES! YES! YES!We LOVE all of the scripted originals that Logo has been slowly creating, and we think this could be a HUGE ratings-grabbing addition to their roster!And now that gurlfriend is joining the family, could we perhaps get our very own Cher-centric reality show?
