
Twenty-five Memphis Police Department retirees who left the force on Friday represented more than 700 years of combined experience.

Shirley Thompson plans to hire an attorney to investigate her son's killing after the Shelby County District Attorney won't press charges against Memphis Police Officer Terrence Shaw.
Shaw shot and killed her son, 15-year-old Justin Thompson, in September 2012 while off-duty near the Parkway Village area.
