TUCKER, Ark. (AP) - Authorities are searching for a convicted killer who escaped from an Arkansas prison where he was serving a 40-year sentence for first-degree murder.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation has awarded a $150,000 grant to support a technology center in southeast Arkansas.
The grant was awarded to the Delta Technology Education Center, which is based in Dumas. The community partnership to create the center formed after a 2007 tornado caused serious damage throughout Dumas.
