Hostess Brands Inc. lived to die another day.
 
The maker of Twinkies and Ding Dongs said late Tuesday that it failed to reach an agreement with its second biggest union. As a result, Hostess plans to continue with a hearing on Wednesday in which a bankruptcy court judge will decide if the company can shutter its operations.

MLGW Water Rates Increasing

Some people will see their utility bill go up next year.

In January. MLGW will raise the water rate by 7.1 percent.

CEO Jerry Collins says that should mean about a dollar a month for the average household.

To offset the hike, MLGW is doing a temporary decrease in the natural gas rate.
