Matthew Koma Claps Back at Ashley Tisdale Over Moms Group Drama
Hilary Duff’s husband, Matthew Koma, has fired back at Ashley Tisdale following her claims about a “toxic” celebrity moms group.
Koma shared a tongue-in-cheek post on Instagram Stories, featuring a mocked-up cover of New York Magazine’s The Cut. In the image, he strikes a thoughtful pose with the headline:
“A mom group tell all through a father’s eyes: When You’re the Most Self-Obsessed Tone Deaf Person on Earth, Other Moms Tend to Shift Focus To Their Actual Toddlers.”
The post comes after Tisdale published a viral essay for The Cut, in which she criticized members of her star-studded moms group as being “mean” and “toxic.” In her piece, she revealed she felt excluded from activities and ultimately decided to leave the group because it felt “too high school” and unhealthy.
Tisdale, who shares daughters Jupiter (4) and Emerson (1) with husband Christopher French, recalled telling the group, “This is too high school for me, and I don’t want to take part in it anymore.” She later confirmed that her decision to step away was about protecting a positive and healthy dynamic.
The actress has clarified that Hilary Duff was not part of the group she referenced in her essay.
The playful yet pointed Instagram response from Koma adds a new twist to the ongoing Hollywood moms drama.
