On January 7, 2012, Beyoncé and Jay-Z welcomed their first child, Blue Ivy Carter, in New York City. The birth came nearly four years after the couple’s private Manhattan wedding.

That same year, Blue Ivy made music history as the youngest person ever credited on Billboard’s Hot 100, after appearing on a Jay-Z track. While the song didn’t reach the Top 40, it marked a historic chart moment.

1985 The Cars released “You Might Think” from their album Heartbeat City. The album peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, while the single debuted at No. 79 on the Hot 100 and climbed to No. 33 during a 17-week chart run.

2003 50 Cent dropped “In Da Club,” the breakout single from his debut album Get Rich or Die Tryin’. Produced by Dr. Dre, the track dominated the Hot 100 for nine weeks and remains one of hip-hop’s most recognizable anthems.

2022
The Weeknd released his fifth studio album, Dawn FM. The album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and topped charts in multiple countries, producing Top 20 singles including “Take My Breath” and “Sacrifice.”

2006 Singer Pink married motocross racer Carey Hart in Costa Rica. The couple later welcomed two children, Willow and Jameson.
