at LA’s Peacock Theater officially welcomed an incredible class of artists that had us feeling ALL the emotions. OutKast brought that iconic ATL flavor while Cyndi Lauper blew kisses to the crowd – talk about iconic moments that’ll live forever in music lore!
The star power was absolutely unreal as André 3000 and Big Boi represented for Southern hip-hop in the biggest way. Seeing OutKast get their flowers was everything – these are the artists who shaped our playlists and defined eras. Meanwhile, Cyndi Lauper’s induction proves that true pop legends never go out of style. The ceremony also honored absolute icons like Jack White, Salt-N-Pepa, and Bad Company – this was one stacked class!
One of the most moving moments came when Chris Cornell’s children accepted Soundgarden’s induction on behalf of their late father. The tribute to the grunge legend had everyone reaching for tissues – a beautiful reminder of how music connects us across generations and how these artists’ legacies continue to inspire.
This was one for the music history books!
Memphis, you know we’re always thinking about how these moments connect to our incredible music city! Seeing hip-hop legends like OutKast and Killer Mike (who made a surprise appearance!) getting recognized at the highest level feels extra special here in the birthplace of rock ‘n’ roll. It’s proof that great music knows no boundaries – from Beale Street to the Rock Hall, the beat goes on!
And can we talk about the fashion? The red carpet was absolutely FIRE with Chappell Roan turning heads in her newspaper dress, Donald Glover looking sharp in mint green, and Janelle Monáe serving looks that had everyone talking. The Killers and Killer Mike showed up to support, making this one of the most stylish and star-studded ceremonies we’ve seen in years.
Congratulations to all the inductees – your music has shaped our lives and now you’ve earned your permanent place in rock ‘n’ roll royalty!
