Bunnie Xo Opens Up About Life After Jelly Roll Divorce: “I’m Here for Fun”
Bunnie Xo is embracing her next chapter following her split from Jelly Roll.
On the July 10 episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast, Bunnie made it clear she’s not looking for another relationship anytime soon.
“He gets it. Not an issue at all.”
She continued:
“I don’t want to date anyone. I am here for fun, baby. I am having fun.”
Bunnie also addressed recent speculation about being seen with another man, insisting it wasn’t a date.
“I just want to clarify though, I wasn’t on a f***ing date.”
Moving Forward
News broke last month that Jelly Roll filed for divorce from Bunnie in May. She later revealed the couple had a major argument on Mother’s Day that ultimately led to their split.
Now, Bunnie says she’s embracing her independence.
“I’m so happy and so free.”
She also shared that she doesn’t want her future to be defined by her past marriage.
“I don’t want to have to be referred to as somebody’s ex for the rest of my life because I have worked so hard to build my brand.”
While grateful for everything they built together, Bunnie said she wants both of them to move forward.
“I’m so thankful for the time that we had together… But let that man live his life also.”
Learning From the Spotlight
Bunnie also responded to criticism after a public makeout moment at Jelly Roll’s Nashville bar.
She explained that the venue has always felt like home to her, but admitted the attention taught her an important lesson.
“I’ve learned that I cannot do anything out in public like that.”
Although she misses the feeling of normalcy, Bunnie says she’s moving forward with a different mindset.
“I will move forward with a lot more integrity and class. I just want to have fun. I’m just here living my best life.”
